We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to entering a float in the annual Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade©. We are a totally “Self-Built” float – we design, construct, decorate and raise the necessary funds to produce our float every year. Funding is achieved through donations, memberships and local fund raising activities.
The community of Sierra Madre is one of the oldest participants in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, having entered a float since 1917. The 2023 entry is our 90th entry into the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Today, the Sierra Madre Rose Float Association designs, builds, decorates and completely funds the community’s annual entry. Carrying on a local tradition, ours is one of only a few all-volunteer-built floats remaining in the parade.
