2020 – Ka Lā Hiki Ola

2020 President Award - Most outstanding use and presentation of flowers

Ka Lā Hiki Ola (“Dawning of a new Day”) is Sierra Madre’s 2020 Rose Parade float entry. It was designed by Jason Redfox and selected from over a dozen designs by members of the Sierra Madre Rose Float Association.

Some statistics: 12,000 roses, 1,700 irises, 1,200 orchids, gobs of barley, sesame seed and other seeds.
