We Have Volunteer Needs All Year Long!!

Signups for volunteering are done through the iVolunteer website and updates posted on our Facebook Page. See Links Below.

Volunteer Guidelines:

• Shift Days and Times vary week to week. Typically Thursday and Sundays from 11-2pm. See our Facebook Page for updates.

• Any questions, please email us at volunteer@sierramadrerosefloat.org with Subject Line: Volunteer

• If volunteers do not arrive within 20 minutes of shift start, walk-ins may fill in.

• All volunteers must complete a Release Form. Under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature.  Please fully complete the form online, (including the Emergency Contact section) or print out and bring it to your first day of volunteering.

• An adult must accompany any volunteer under 14. The minimum age to volunteer with an adult is 10.

• Volunteer needs vary and may include assisting with organizing, tidying up the barn, inventory, data entry, prep deco items, dry and floral, support and related tasks.

• Float Construction needs include working with wood, welding, cutting, screening, foam crafting (See Volunteer Page Descriptions).

• Community Service Hours Reporting is available.

• For your protection

  • NO personal items, such as backpacks or purses, are allowed. 

  • NO use of phones or audio devices in the barn. They may remain in your pocket with ringers silent.   

  • Wear old work clothes

  • You MUST wear closed-toed shoes.

  • Bring a warm jacket/sweatshirt, as the barn can get cold unexpectedly.
