The Self Build Float Group is rolling out something extra special this year… we’re hosting the very first Self Build Picnic: “Float Family Reunion!”

That’s right. The most creative, welding-sparking, messy, wildly dedicated bunch around is getting together for a day of:

Talking shop (yes, we want to see those concept sketches!)
Swapping float ideas and design dreams
EATING ALL THE FOOD — because it is a potluck after all
Playing those classic family reunion games… with a float-building twist
Fun, friendly competition, and prizes
And quality time with the most interesting folks you will ever meet… the Floaties.

Whether you are a seasoned self-builder or just float-curious, all are welcome. This is about community, creativity, and celebrating the bold world of self-built floats together.
